Purely singular: Grown on Große Lage sites

The members of the VDP.Mosel-Saar-Ruwer have come to agreement that their origins-based wines will be labeled using a four-tier classification system, necessitating the introduction of VDP.ERSTE LAGE sites. 

For estates like ours which cultivate exclusively on VDP.GROSSE LAGE sites, this opens new possibilities for offering additional traditional origins-based wines at an attractive price below the GG. The origin of our new GRÜNHÄUSER RIESLING trocken wine is rooted in the classified vineyards on the 3 historic monopole sites on the Grünhäuser Berg. In France, high-quality dry wines of this type earns a clear denomination as „Premier Cru.“ This wine conveys an incredible amount of the Grünhaus identity, and offers a wonderful cross section of the Große Lage sites, topped only by the GGs themselves.
